Cooking Direction on the Stove: 1. In saucepan, bring water to a boil (Cooking measurement chart. For drier rice use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 2 cups water and 1 cup rice (Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power, microwave for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.
